Sign in with Google or Microsoft to save your paintings to the cloud and access them from any device.

Why sign in?

Save to the cloud

Signing in lets you save paintings to Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive so they are accessible from any device, anywhere.

Open from anywhere

Sign in at school and at home to access the same paintings on different computers.

Never lose your work

Cloud saves are protected from browser data clearing, computer resets, and device changes.

Signing in with Google

Click the Sign In button in the toolbar or the Login button in any Save/Open dialogue.

Choose Google from the sign-in options.

A Google sign-in window opens. Select your Google account or sign in with your email and password.

Grant permission when asked. School Paint only requests access to its own MyPaintings folder in your Drive — it cannot see any other files.

You are now signed in. Your name and profile picture appear in the toolbar. Save and Open buttons now offer Google Drive as an option.

Signing in with Microsoft

Click Sign In and choose Microsoft.

A Microsoft sign-in window opens. Enter your Microsoft email and password.

Grant permission when prompted. School Paint only accesses its MyPaintings folder in OneDrive.

You are signed in. Save and Open now offer OneDrive as an option.

Privacy: School Paint only accesses its dedicated MyPaintings folder. It cannot read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive or OneDrive.

Signing out

Click your profile picture or name in the toolbar and select Sign Out . Your local painting is not affected. Cloud saves remain in your Drive/OneDrive.

School accounts

If your school uses Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, use your school email address to sign in. Your paintings save to your school account.
