Open Tool

Load a previously saved painting from your device, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive.

How to open a painting

Click the Open button in the toolbar, or press Ctrl+O .

Choose a source: Your Device, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive.

Browse and select the painting you want to open. Cloud sources show your saved MyPaintings files.

The painting loads onto the canvas, replacing any current work. Save your current work first if needed.

Continue editing. The loaded painting is fully editable on the bitmap canvas.

Where you can open from

Tips

Save before opening

Opening a new painting replaces your current canvas. Always save your current work first with Ctrl+S.

Open from cloud anywhere

Save to Google Drive or OneDrive at school and open the same file at home on a different computer.

Import instead of open

If you want to add a photo or existing image on top of your current painting without replacing it, use the Import tool instead.
