School Paint - Web-Based Painting Application
Thank you for using School Paint. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain how you can use our web-based painting application. By using School Paint, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Important: If you're under 18, please have a parent or guardian review these Terms with you before using School Paint.
School Paint is a web-based painting and image-editing application. It allows you to create, edit, and save digital paintings directly in your web browser. You can save your work to your device or to cloud storage services like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.
School Paint is designed for students, educators, artists, and anyone who wants to create digital paintings. To use School Paint you must:
Signing in with a Google or Microsoft account is required to access School Paint's painting tools. Your school, organisation, or administrator controls who is on the authorised access list. If you need access, contact your administrator.
To use School Paint you will sign in with your Google or Microsoft account. This is used to verify your authorised access and, if you choose, to save paintings to Google Drive or OneDrive. By signing in with Google, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy .
By signing in with Microsoft, you also agree to Microsoft's Services Agreement and Privacy Statement .
You may use School Paint to:

All paintings, designs, and content you create in School Paint belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over your creative work.
We only use your content to provide the service. For example:
When using School Paint, make sure you have the right to use any content you incorporate into your work, including images, fonts, or other materials you didn't create yourself.
School Paint itself—including its code, design, features, and branding—is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the application but not copy, modify, or redistribute our code or design without permission.

When you use Google Drive integration, your files are stored in your Google Drive account according to Google's Privacy Policy . We don't store copies of files you save to Google Drive.
When you use OneDrive integration, your files are stored in your Microsoft OneDrive account according to Microsoft's Privacy Statement . We don't store copies of files you save to OneDrive.
School Paint uses Firebase (a Google service) to run access verification. Firebase stores a list of authorised email addresses managed by your administrator, and an audit log of administrative actions. Your email address is checked against this list when you sign in, but is not stored by Firebase as a result of that check unless it has been pre-registered by an administrator. Firebase's data processing terms apply: https://firebase.google.com/terms/data-processing-terms .
We implement security measures to protect your information, including encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
School Paint is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the application will always be available, error-free, or secure.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure your work is saved properly, we're not responsible for loss of data due to technical issues, user error, or other causes. We strongly recommend backing up important work regularly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of School Paint. This includes loss of data, loss of work, or any other damages.
If you're using School Paint in an educational setting, teachers and administrators are responsible for supervising student use and ensuring compliance with school policies.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of School Paint at any time. We'll try to notify users of significant changes, but we're not obligated to do so.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:

If your access is terminated, you may lose access to your saved work within the application. Files saved to your Google Drive will remain accessible through your Google account. Files saved to your Microsoft OneDrive will remain accessible through your Microsoft account.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and School Paint regarding your use of the application.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of School Paint will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
